Celebrating 20 Years of Jeju Swing Camp

Starting in 2006, Jeju Swing Camp marks its 20th anniversary this year.
The driving force behind sustaining this event for two decades has always been the swing dancers who have supported and cheered for the camp.

 

Now a well-recognized event with its own brand identity, Jeju Swing Camp has reached a point where many bands express interest in participating.

However, we are fully aware that there’s still room for improvement.

 

Our core mission remains unchanged: to create a music-focused party for dancers, rather than a competition-centered event, where dancers from different countries can come together and connect through music.

To mark this 20th milestone, we’re moving to a new venue, setting the stage for the next 20 years to come.

 

This year’s highlight is the exciting shift from our traditional U.S.-centric lineup to inviting three of Europe’s hottest swing bands, all at once. We look forward to delivering an unforgettable experience through unique collaborations between the bands and dynamic vocal transitions.

 

Our hope is to not only encourage dancer interaction, but also to foster connections between bands—ultimately contributing to a more vibrant and diverse swing band presence throughout the Asian swing scene.
