2025 Band Lineup

2015년 음악가와 댄서의 협업으로 탄생한 Reverent Juke는 스윙의 황금기에 뿌리를 두고 있습니다.

댄서에 대한 이해도를 바탕으로 현재 유럽 내에서 가장 핫 한 밴드 중 하나 입니다.

​그들은 초기 뉴올리언스 재즈부터 30년대의 하드 스윙 스타일, 그리고 50년대의 스윙과 블루스까지 아우르는 강력하고 다재다능한 스윙 밴드입니다.

​2019년에 그들은 12곡의 퓨어 스윙으로 구성된 첫 번째 앨범 We Are The Juke를 발매했고, 2021년에는 라이브로 녹음한 10곡이 담긴 비닐인 A Night With The Jukes를 발매했습니다. 2022년에는 The Great Juke Session을 발매했고, 2024년에는 Jukin' Around를 발매했습니다.

브뤼셀을 기반으로 Reverent Juke는 현재 유럽과 전 세계의 린디홉 페스티벌에 참여하고 있습니다.

Born in 2015 as a collaboration between musicians and dancers, Reverent Juke has its roots in the golden age of swing.

Based on their understanding of dancers, they are currently one of the hottest bands in Europe.

They are a powerful and versatile swing band that spans from early New Orleans jazz to the hard swing styles of the 30s and the swing and blues of the 50s.

In 2019 they released their first album We Are The Juke, a 12-track pure swing album, followed by A Night With The Jukes, a 10-track vinyl recorded live, in 2021. In 2022 they released The Great Juke Session, and in 2024 they released Jukin' Around.

Originating in Brussels, Reverent Juke currently perform at Lindy Hop festivals in Europe and around the world.

아울러 Nicolle rochelle의 보컬과 게스트로 참여하는 Sam Ghezzi의 보컬은 이제까지 경험해보지 못한 이 밴드의 진면목을 느끼게 해줄 것입니다.

Inspired by the wild and hot sounds of Harlem and Chicago jazz from the 1930s and 40s, The Big Five have established themselves as Berlin’s most authentic swing-era combo.

Combining a powerful rhythm section, a blazing horn-led frontline and dynamic song arrangements, this international band delves deep into the lesser-known repertoire of the golden age of swing, while focusing on original compositions.

Their lineup ranges from a core quintet to a full septet.

The Big Five are veterans of Berlin’s famous Lindy Hop and Balboa dance halls and know how to turn a gentle dance party into a swing-out rave. With their smart attire and intense passion for authentic swing-era jazz, they are sure to please!
Also, the vocals of Nicolle Rochelle and guest Sam Ghezzi will make you feel the true side of this band like you’ve never heard before.

작년 제주스윙캠프에서 강렬한 인상을 남기며, 많은 팬을 만들어 낸 장본인인 샘게치 블루스 밴드가 다시 옵니다.
그들 만의 유니크한 스윙요소와 핫 재즈 그리고 리듬앤 블루스의 조합은 그의 음악에 빠져들 수 밖에 없게 만듭니다.
레버런트 쥬크 밴드와 더 빅 파이브에 게스트 보컬로 참여하면서 보여줄 다양한 퍼포먼스가 벌써부터 기대되게 만듭니다.

Sam Ghezzi Blues Band, who left a strong impression at Jeju Swing Camp last year and created many fans, is back.
Their unique swing elements and the combination of hot jazz and rhythm and blues make it impossible not to fall in love with his music.
The diverse performances Sam Ghezzi will show as a guest vocalist with Reverent Juke  and The Big Five are already highly anticipated.

예전 제주스윙캠프를 찾아 Russ wilson과 함께 드럼을 연주한 Atsuki Takizawa의 실력은 많은 분들이 아실 겁니다.

기존 4명의 멤버에 피아노 Ryohei가 참여하여 멋진 연주를 선사할 것입니다.

Many people will know the skills of Atsuki Takizawa, who has played drums with Russ Wilson at Jeju Swing Camp in the past.

Piano Ryohei will join the original four members to present a wonderful performance.

그는 다양한 음악적 배경을 바탕으로 자신만의 블루스를 창조하며, 이를 ‘Fattback Blues’라 부릅니다.
Fattback Blues는 전통적인 핑거피킹과 슬라이드 기타 연주를 기반으로, 어반 블루스, 록, 펑크 등 현대적인 사운드와 결합된 스타일입니다. 그는 오른손 엄지로 타악기적인 베이스 라인과 셔플 리듬을 두드리며, 집게손가락으로는 리듬과 리드 라인을 동시에 연주하여 솔로 기타로도 마치 풀 밴드와 같은 풍성한 사운드를 만들어냅니다.

블루스를 자신의 소명으로 삼기 전, 그는 블루스뿐만 아니라 재즈, 레게, 펑크, 록 등 다양한 장르를 탐구했습니다.
이후 여러 블루스 및 음악 페스티벌, 댄스 행사에서 활발히 공연하며, Yusef는 전 세계적으로 인정받는 아티스트로 자리매김하였습니다.

Blending his diverse musical background, he creates a unique style of blues that he calls “Fattback Blues.”
Fattback Blues combines traditional fingerpicking and slide guitar techniques with a modern touch of urban blues, rock, and funk. Using his thumb to tap out percussive bass lines and shuffles, and his index finger to play rhythm and lead lines, he crafts a full-band sound with just his solo guitar.

Before deciding that blues was his true calling, he studied various genres including blues, jazz, reggae, punk, and rock.
Through performances at numerous blues and music festivals, as well as dance events, Yusef has gained international recognition for his music.

세계적으로 수준높은 스윙댄서들을 보유하고 있는 한국이지만 제대로 된 스윙재즈밴드가 없던 상황에서 미국에서 음악을 공부한 리더(기타) ‘세이지민’이 중심이 되어 결성한 밴드이다.

고든 웹스터 밴드 등 다양한 해외 유명 밴드와의 협연을 통해 매년 성장을 거듭하여 현재는 한국에서 가장 인기 있는 스윙재즈밴드 이며, 이제는 한국 뿐 아니라 다양한 아시아 국가로 초대되어활동 폭을 넓히고 있다.

오랜 기간 제주스윙캠프의 메인밴드로 활동하고 있으며, 서울의 다양한 행사에서 메인밴드로서 위상이 높다.

Although Korea boasts some of the world’s top-level swing dancers, there had long been a lack of an authentic swing jazz band in the country.
This changed with the formation of a band led by guitarist Sage Min, who studied music in the United States.

Through collaborations with renowned international bands such as the Gordon Webster Band, the group has grown steadily each year. Today, it is the most popular swing jazz band in Korea, and its reputation has expanded beyond the country, leading to invitations to perform across various Asian nations.

They have long served as one of the main band for Jeju Swing Camp, and continue to hold a prominent position as a headline act at many events in Seoul.

24년 방콕 Swing Era 행사에서 멋진 연주를 들려주었던 The Frankie Sixes는 댄서이자 작곡가이기도 한 리더 Reza에 의해 결성된 밴드입니다.

말레이시아 쿠알라룸프르를 중심으로 활발한 할동을 하고 있는 아시아 밴드로 미래가 기대되는 밴드입니다.

아시아를 중심으로 한 댄서들의 교류의 장인 제주스윙캠프를 통해 아시아의 밴드 간의 교류에 힘쓰고자 하는 취지에 따라 여러분에게 소개하고 싶은 밴드입니다.

스윙재즈 연주에 말레이시아어 가사로 부르는 유니크한 느낌은 우리에게 서양문화로서의 스윙을 대하는 자세에 대한 좋은 본보기 일수 있다고 생각합니다.

The Frankie Sixes, who delivered a fantastic performance at the 2024 Bangkok Swing Era event, is a band formed by Reza, a dancer and composer.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, this Asian band is actively performing and showing great promise for the future.

We’re excited to introduce them to you in line with the spirit of the Jeju Swing Camp, a gathering place for dancers across Asia, which also aims to foster exchange between swing bands throughout the region.

Their unique sound—swing jazz performed with lyrics sung in Malay—offers a refreshing perspective and serves as a great example of how we can approach swing not just as a Western cultural form, but in our own voice and style.
